Lessons from Publishing on Amazon: What Works and What Doesn’t and My Amazon Books

What I’ve learned in the process of publishing on Amazon so far

Publishing on Amazon has been a journey of discovery and learning. People on youtube and other social media platforms might tell you otherwise, but in my experience, low content books don’t sell well. I put a lot of work into my lined journals and sudoku books, but they just haven’t made any money. I also published a coloring book, and put hours upon hours into putting that book together, and I have only sold a couple of them.

Next, I started putting together books for writers, mostly full of lists, and those did better. You can see them below, so far there are six in the series.

I also have another Amazon Publishing experience you can read about here, titled the World’s Most Expensive Notebook. I decided to do a full color journal, and let me tell you, it is very cool, but things…went wrong… Anyway, I did get one for my dad, and he loves it.

Here’s a link to my books on Amazon. My writer’s helper books are all on Kindle Unlimited, Kindle, or you can also order them in paperback. I also have a lot of journals and Sudoku books.

Here are some of my books, but there are more on my Amazon page:
