Dec 27, 2006 My kids enjoyed watching this movie and so did I. My older son doesn’t want to see it again though, due to all the singing. I thought the music was good, and my younger son loved it and wants to see it again. It really does have a lot of music in it, so if you have one who hates that kind of thing you may want to wait for DVD to fast forward through the singing and dancing.
Characters and Storyline
The storyline of “Happy Feet” follows Mumble, a penguin who is different from the rest of his colony due to his inability to sing, but he excels in tap dancing. This difference leads him on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, making the film a heartwarming tale about embracing one’s uniqueness. The characters are endearing and well-animated, providing plenty of humor and emotional moments. While the movie’s musical aspect is a central feature, the underlying message about individuality and perseverance is equally impactful, making “Happy Feet” a meaningful and entertaining choice for families.
