Aug 6, 2008 The book, The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey, by Trenton Lee Stewart was a wonderfully well written book. The characters are very endearing and you really come to care about them. My kids really enjoyed this book and we loved reading it to them. We also enjoyed the first book and hope that the author will continue to write more about these child geniuses. This book had a lot of action and kept us on the edge of our seats.
