Jul 5, 2009. I took my boys to see this movie (including my husband). The kids and I enjoyed it but my hubby gave it a thumbs down. There were a few parts that I want to warn about if you are not sure about taking the kids to see it, though.
Spoiler alert: I will be telling a couple parts of the movie here. In one part early in the movie, Shia LaBeouf is held down and a small slimy robot is forced down his throat. This scene bothered my younger son a little. Also, there is a lot of kissing and one part where a girl gets forward with Shia in the bedroom (no nudity). The little robot in the movie humps Megan Fox’s leg and says sh*t a lot. The movie has some swearing and some blood. I thought it was a little hard to follow, but the kids didn’t care about that. They were too busy laughing at the swearing robots. I can see why it was rated PG-13. It was a little rougher than the first movie, but still full of action.
Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material. Released on on June 24th,2009. Decepticon forces return to Earth on a mission to take Sam Witwicky prisoner, after the young hero learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers. Joining the mission to protect humankind is Optimus Prime, who forms an alliance with international armies for a second epic battle.
