Aug 11, 2009 We just watched the movie ‘Beethoven’s Big Break’. The kids loved it and I enjoyed it, too. It was fun to watch a movie about how Beethoven got into the movies. The story begins just before the filming of the first Beethoven movie, which they say was actually written for a Bichon Frisé. It shows the funny way a St Bernard ended up with the part, and the background story of some of the funniest scenes in that first movie (with Charles Grodin). This movie stars Moises Arias of Hannah Montana, Dadnapped & Nacho Libre. Animal lovers will really enjoy this, and so will the Dog Whisperer fans. Cesar Millan does a special appearance in the movie. We have also enjoyed all of the earlier Beethoven movies.

Eddie, a struggling animal trainer and single dad suddenly finds himself the personal wrangler for a large and lovable St. Bernard whose fabulous movie “audition” catapults the dog to stardom. However, a trio of unscrupulous ne’er-do-wells have plans to kidnap the famous dog and hold him for ransom.
