Jun 28, 2010 Our family just came back from the movie, Knight and Day, and my kids enjoyed it. Rated PG-13, Knight and Day is an action comedy movie that is semi-family friendly, with a lot of shooting, death and action, but not much blood. I think that action movies should be more like this one, with less blood, more comedy and more family friendly. My two kids gave it a thumbs up and so do I, however one of our boys did complain about the kissing.
I am going to describe the most violent scene in the movie, which my twelve-year-old cringed at. Here it is in a nutshell: A bad guy gets stabbed in the chest with a LARGE butcher knife. The criminal then SLOWLY pulls the knife out (it has blood on it), and Cameron Diaz then says, “Gross…” the man then proceeds to get kicked out a window and is ‘swiped away’ by an oncoming train. There were a few other parts in the movie that showed a little bit of blood and the F-bomb is dropped one time. There are a few other minor swear words.
A woman is caught between a covert agent and those he claims set him up. As their globetrotting adventure erupts into a maze of double-crosses, close escapes, false identities, and head-spinning romantic snafus, they come to realize that all they can count on is each other.
