Jul 26, 2009 My husband and son went to see Disney Pixar’s Up and really enjoyed it. Hubby said that the dog “made the movie”. The movie features the voices of Edward Asner, Christopher Plummer, Director Bob Peterson as DUG the dog, and John Ratzenberger (of course…isn’t John Ratzenberger in Every Disney Movie?). The dog looks like a golden retriever and he is so funny!
In the movie, Dug must wear the “Cone of Shame” which is really an e-collar. It is especially funny to me because we have a beautiful golden named, Tackle. Unfortunately he, too, must wear the “Cone of Shame” quite often. He has been plagued with “hotspots” since he was a pup (he is now seven). I have posted a picture of Tackle below, wearing his e-collar or aka lampshade.
By tying thousands of balloon to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn’t alone on his journey, since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.
