When you have shoulder surgery, you will go home with a lot of supplies. I was sent home with an immobilization sling, and an ice therapy machine (a cooler with a cord and hoses coming out of it). Sometimes the hospital will allow you to wear home your hospital gown, but this is kind of rare. I have tried five different kinds of slings and I found the slingshot 2 to be so much more comfortable than all the others. If you are looking for comfortable sling after shoulder surgery I highly recommend this one. It is so much better than the one that the hospital gave me.
