It is day five and my arm is still in a cast. The pain is getting a bit easier to deal with. I’d describe the pain in this way: it feels like my arm/elbow area is caught in a bear trap. No lie. I haven’t felt like doing much except sleep. I was able to shower by covering my cast with a trash bag and sealing it to my arm with duct tape. That worked, no water got in. I keep a notepad and ink pen with my medicine so I can write down when I take it.
