We went to see Iron Man and really enjoyed it. I haven’t ever seen a movie with Robert Downey Jr that made an impact, but he was excellent as Tony Stark. He did a great job. Until I saw Iron Man, I didn’t even realize he was cute. But it turns out, he’s a handsome guy. Who knew? Jeff Bridges did a great job as Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger. You know, we just don’t see enough of him anymore. I thought it was a great story and enjoyed the entire movie. As far as it being OK for kids to watch? I’m not taking mine to see it. I think the PG-13 rating was a wise choice. I think the ‘hole in the chest’ thing would freak out the young ones. As far as the PG-13 rating goes for the ‘action sequences’, it was comparable to the Transformers (with a little more blood).
