10 Popular Nouns for Social Media Conversations

1. Squad: Instead of saying “group of friends,” people are now referring to their close circle as their “squad.”

2. Bae: The term “bae” has been around for a while, but it’s still a popular noun to refer to one’s significant other.

3. Snack: When someone is attractive, they’re now being referred to as a “snack.”

4. Lit: Instead of saying something is great or amazing, people are using the noun “lit” to describe a fun and exciting experience.

5. Tea: Instead of gossip, people are now referring to the chatter as “the tea.”

6. Flex: When someone is showing off their accomplishments, they’re referred to as “flexing.”

7. Mood: When someone is feeling a certain way, they might just say “mood” instead of explaining how they feel.

8. Vibes: Instead of atmosphere, people are using “vibes” to describe the feeling of a place or situation.
